Victor Gilinsky

Bio:
Victor Gilinsky received his BS in engineering from Cornell University in 1956 and his PhD in physics from Caltech in 1961. He joined the Rand Corporation that same year, and dealt there with a variety of technical and public policy issues, eventually becoming the head of Rand¿s physical sciences department. In 1975 President Ford appointed him to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and in 1979 he was reappointed by President Carter. Gillinsky also served on the staff of the Atomic Energy Commission from 1971 to 1973.
